Questions people ask first.
Something else on your mind? Ask on WhatsApp. A person from our team replies, usually the same day.
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation to book lessons. You answer around 40 questions on grammar, vocabulary, reading and language use, which takes about 20 minutes, and you see an indicative level from A1 to C2 straight away.
Q2Is the result an official certificate?
No. It is an honest indication to guide your next step, not an official CEFR or IELTS certificate. It does not test speaking or writing; our team assesses those when we speak with you.
Q3Can I prepare for IELTS if my English is weak right now?
Yes, but usually not straight away. If your level is below about B1, building your general English first tends to lead to better IELTS results. We will tell you honestly where to start.
Q4How long does IELTS preparation take?
It depends on your starting level, your target band and how much time you can study. Moving up half a band often takes weeks of focused work, and a full band can take months. After your assessment we give you a realistic plan. We never guarantee a score.
Q5Academic or General Training: which one do I need?
Listening and Speaking are the same in both. Academic uses academic texts and tasks and is generally asked for by universities and some professional bodies. General Training uses everyday and workplace texts with a letter writing task, and is often used for work and migration. Always check which one your university or route asks for.
Q6Do you teach online or in person?
Both. In person learning is in Karachi, subject to availability, and online learning can be arranged for learners anywhere in Pakistan. Tell us your preference and we will recommend the best option.
Q7Do I need IELTS to study abroad?
Often, but not always. Many universities accept IELTS, and some accept other tests or evidence such as previous study in English. Requirements vary by university, course and country, and LEAD Counseling can help you confirm the one that applies to you.
Q8Are the mock tests and games free even if I do not study with you?
Yes. All 16 IELTS format mock tests, 24 practice games, the band calculator and the writing and speaking question banks are free for everyone.
